Have you tried to read your scanner to get that info back?

I use the TaoTronics one from amazon and it didn't like the headphone jack outlet, it made the scanner sound muffled and hard to understand. So I switched it to the Ext. Speaker output and everything

It looks to be pointing to the software, look it over real good and find what's holding the mute mode on.

Have you ever heard anything on this ID? If it shows up but no audio it probably went encrypted.
