SDS100 Upgrades?
Encryption is ruining it here too. My point was that P25, or P25 Phase II, or digital didn't ruin it. Joe M.

SDS100 Upgrades?
You could say P25 "ruined it", or digital "ruined it", or narrowbanding "ruined it". Any required newer scanners. Yes, encryption will ruin it for everyone since upgrades are not legal. P25 Phase II d

Which one?
That depends on your needs. If you have simulcast systems in your area, the SDS100 is the way to go. If not, the BCD436HP might be better. If size is a concern, the BCD325P2 might be what you want. Jo

SDS100 Questions.
1. Yes - it can hold more/longer recordings. 2. The max is at least 128GB. I've never actually tried 256GB. 2A. The official spec'ed max is 32GB. 3. Are you using SIMPLE MODE? (not sure what 'name 1'

Are you perhaps referring to OCD? This was not "Orange County Dispatch" as many people believed, but was "Operations Control Dispatch" from LA. They were on many 33 MHz frequencies. CHP is still on 42
