I use both. I only use Sentinel to update database and firmware. Butel is very easy to download the systems you want from RR.

When using the clip, make sure of two things: 1. Make sure the battery compartment is FULLY seated. 2. Press on the END of the clip (not the middle). That will help prevent breaking it. Joe M.
