Antenna array
Chris Quirk
HI: 6 antennas 7 radios I use the Phantom antennas for 800 Mhzs 150 and and 450. The center base load is for 42 Mhzs and 144Mhzs with a duplexer. The phantom antennas work reasonably well and instead of removing 6 antennas at underground parking garage I remove the whip on the 42 Mhzs antenna which makes life easier, I have a couple of events where I need more gain so I swap the phantom antennas for a center load or half wave whip.

Sorry to hear this. I have read his blog many times and I am not sure I would have shown the bravery he has in fighting that awful battle. RIP Paul.

I never met him.
He did seem like a good guy to know. A real loss to the world. Rip upman.

"the PA amplifier is to let people know their vehicle needs service when their turn signals are not working."
You can sell them Blinker Fluid. January is "change your blinker fluid month"

A headache rack also makes a good antenna mounting solution on a pickup.

here is the antenna array on my Ford F-150 To avoid drilling holes in the cab roof, I created a platform or rail behind the cab that I punched 3/4 holes for each of the NMO mounts. all the wires go over to the passenger side and go under the truck where the wires loop incase the truck bed needs to be raised for service, then enter the truck. I put some tape over the wires where they enter below the rear passenger side back door.
