Re: turn off CTCSS on homepatrol
The frequency database now has it wrong. So how do you fix this? Simple - find out what the correct CTCSS tone is and SUBMIT it to RadioReference for inclusion in the database.

Yes. I don't recall the exact nomenclature but it's OFF or a SEARCH or something like that.

Sorry, I don't know if separate groups have been established for the new radios yet, but
Paul, will the older control head RH-96 work with the 436/536?

I know I am replying late, and may have missed some of this in the previous replies from Dewey and Upman, but I suggest you start with the online user guide for the HP-1 on Uniden's Twiki site

Re: Home Patrol and GPS
You can have the HP-1 monitor only the full database, just a favorite list, or any combination. If you have it set to monitor full database, the FL is ignored. No need to delete from the unit.

Re: New Poll for HomePatrol
Using your logic, it was a mistake to have four completely separate Yahoo groups for the BCD396T, BCD396XT, BCD996T, and BCD996XT. However, that's exactly what we have.

Ergonomically unusual is the only way I can describe it!
I have a belt carry that was put out by Scannermaster, but rather large to wear on a belt. I have the mobile clip for auto mounting, but
