Are you assuming that "nothing to scan" means nothing on the SD card?   That message indicates that you do not have any Favorite Lists (FL) turned on.   Hence the scanner has nothing to scan.

I found on RR a page “Nothing to Scan” with a list of items to look at. I believe my problem is with the “Profile edit”. Now that I have the correct settings, I will try again. I will get back to the group with my results.
