And I do live close to Travis Air Force Base where there's a tacmo unit that comes out from the East Coast when things get busy in North Korea and China you can hear them on 311.00 putting out eam messages you can't understand the message but you can count the characters the usual message is 46 when we went to the Gulf war it was like $130 characters I knew something was up you can also catch them on the satellite link 323.8 if you hear 311 and you do not hear 323.8 it's probably not an important message just some sort of drill but if you hear both of them it could be an important message so you can hear 311 on your 396 okay I better stop while I'm ahead because I could go on all day when I listen to on my 396

I have no idea what was going on I was having a heck of hard time getting on but I think maybe I finally fixed the problem somehow or somebody was nice enough to put me on the list server or the moderator put me on thank you very much and have a great day

Good old fashioned t models which are good radios too the XT model just has a few more features but I think the receiver is pretty much the same I've tested them.

Okay now that I seem to finally maybe beyond after multiple attempts I'll put out what I was going to put out before I live near San Francisco and I am available to help anybody that wants to use the 396 more there's a lot of stuff you can even listen to with 396 even if the area is mostly encrypted and trucked there's still tons of stuff here to listen to so I will gladly help anybody that wants to know what you can listen to with 396 in the San Francisco Bay area
