Maybe I should not share this due to great embarrassment but. . .
After many l weeks of not receiving the Onondaga County interoperability P-25 frequencies, thinking the P-25 board was burnt, the frequencies were in wrong base, offset etc. the 796D was damaged, exploring all types of cures I embarrassingly discovered that the control channel 460.500 was locked out. Yes, for all dummies out there check the lock-out status and guess what? Yes that is right, I receive all P-25 channels. Moral of the story: even a retired electronics tech can lock himself out!
